Hiatal Hernia Testing and Treament

A hiatal hernia is when the upper part of the stomach pokes through the opening in the diaphragm muscle made by the esophagus. This opening can get enlarged (mainly from not chewing your food enough and swallowing it whole) and can cause symptoms of acid reflux.

Often times the nerve supply to the diaphragm muscle is compromised as well from the neck and also the lower middle back.

A simple muscle test can determine if this is your problem or not. What’s great about this is that we can also retest after the treatment to see if it was effective. Many patients feel much better after getting Treatment.
